Stones Throw Lodge – Outdoor Hot Tub on Private Deck!

It’s all in the name! This warm country house is a mere stone’s throw from the main parking lot at Hunter Mountain Resort. It’s less than a 3-minute walk to the front door of the ski lodge and only a 5-minute walk to the center of the village. Hunter is an inviting and unforgettable place where you’ll have your pick of several kinds of delicious cuisine at our local restaurants and pubs.
On the ground level, there are three bedrooms. The first guest bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed as well, and the third bedroom has bunk beds. There is a quaint living room with a loveseat, TV, and coffee table. Also on this floor is a full bathroom stocked with shampoo, hand soap, and other toiletries.
On the second level, there are two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen size bed, and the second bedroom has a full-size bed. There is a large luxurious living room with a giant L-shaped leather couch, an electric fireplace, and a 50-inch smart TV with cable. There is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower fully stocked with shampoo, hand soap, and other toiletries.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all amenities and stocked with several spices for creating your favorite meals. There is a separate dedicated space for dining with a wooden table and a lovely view of Hunter Mountain. After a delicious dinner, step outside onto the private deck for a dip in the hot tub! There is a large gas BBQ grill and an outdoor picnic table for your entire group.
After an adventurous day exploring the area, sit back and relax on the front lawn with your loved ones. There is a fire pit with ample seating for everyone. I highly recommend this space for marshmallow roasting! Countless recreational activities await you! Dolan’s Lake, our local swimming spot, is a lovely place to visit during your stay. A serene park with picnic tables, a basketball court, a wondrous nature path, and beautiful mountain views. This Catskills gem is only a 5-minute walk from the house!
North-South Lake is a majestic state park perched within the Catskill Forest Preserve. There you will find captivating scenic beauty and several notable historical sites. Miles of well-marked and maintained trails are all accessible and filled with indigenous flora and fauna everywhere you look! There is a large lake for swimming, but canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats are also available to rent. Our crowning jewel, Kaaterskill Falls, is the highest cascading waterfall in New York State, dropping in two tiers over 260 feet! The Falls have been one of the region’s most popular destinations for centuries. This unique vision of natural beauty is only nine short miles from your doorstep!

NO smoking in the house.
No more than 10 folks in the home at a time.
NO one is allowed in the hot tub alone. NO children under 12 in the hot tub.
NO wet wipes in the toilets.
All trash must be placed in the County Waste receptacles. Boxes flattened.
Trash goes in one receptacle and recyclables in the other. DO NOT put trash in recyclable bin.
Should you exceed what fits in a trash bin you must take the overage to the town transfer station. Directions are in the house manual.
